EPL is partnering public sector stakeholders and government administrations to effect a new kind of public sector reform in Africa. Using an Appreciative Inquiry Model, recruitment and talent management strategies, EPL works on mindset transformation and enabling ethical leadership, critical and generational thinking using a 'forest of stakeholders' as well as the wisdom and support of Alums passionate about the public sector. My work focuses on leading different teams strategically and bringing it all together to achieve significant and measurable change.

As an independent consultant I focus on businesses in both the corporate and not for profit sector who work in professional development, education, governace, digital enterprise and social enterprise development. I engage in end- to-end solutions in the business workflows, diagnosing lapses and challenges in the work stream. By prescribing specific nodes of change, which I often lead to implement using a hands-on approach, I am instrumental in achieving business transformations for clients such as the British Council ( Kenya and East Africa), Action Change (UK), Appolonia City And Ronnit ( Ghana) and several others in Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Kenya.

Penplusbytes works in 3 core areas; training journalists to report more effectively on oil and gas, supporting efforts to improve good governance using technology and by so doing reducing corruption and increasing transperancy across sectors and thirdly improving the use of digital and new medias amoung public sector institutions and helping wage war on dis/malinformation by propagating media information literacy using the UNESCO model.As Executive Director and chief strategist I also, with board approval, added on a fourth area of focus; Climate Change and Wellbeing. This area allowed us to focus on what we could do to turn up the use of tech and apply superior training modules and techniques to help public sector actors and citizens to tackle more of the development challenges in Ghana.

In leading the development and growth of the organisation I identify, devise, and implement learning solutions and ensure corporate performance against strategy, by setting and monitoring standards for accountability, transparency and impact assessment. Coordinated the development and implementation of Penplusbytes's maiden five year corporate strategy, ensuring human resources, processes and systems are fully aligned behind the achievement of corporate strategic goals. Developed and implemented an organisation-wide strategy to engage with public, private and CSO counterparts with the aim of assuring quality and client satisfaction as well as increasing the scale and impact of Penplusbytes work.

My role was to lead in developing concepts that won funding from multi-donors for strengthening Parliaments and parliamentarians across Africa. I worked with, and coordinated the activities of a group of consultants and experts across fifteen (15) countries to develop tools for use by Parliaments and their committees to ensure Members of Parliament are able to deal effectively with all duty bearers providing public goods in their constituencies. I participated in the design and delivery of training programmes aimed at improving the performance of the Legislature as representatives of communities in Ghana and across the African continent.I also identified and collaborated with partner organisations passionate about empowering legislatures in Africa to deliver accountably.

As Deputy Director/Business Director, I worked daily directing operational and project management staff to achieve efficiency in managing over 16 projects in Education, the Creative Enterprises, Governance, Science, Technology and Innovation(STI) and other socio-cultural projects. Responsible for fundraising and enterprise/business strategy for all of these projects and for building and maintaining high level partnerships with Key stakeholders including Ministers of State, business leaders and CEO's (both form the UK and Ghana), I carved a niche as an emotionally intelligent executive able to work through kinks in delivery processes. I successfully negotiated a considerable number of contracts with multiple partners and constantly used my networks to facilitate the business of the organisation with bilateral and multi-lateral donors and funders.

Lead spokesperson and advocate for the affairs of the first ever gold and silver Refinery in West Africa.Collaborated with the Ghana Chamber of Mines to develop training in sustainable mining and extraction methods for significant groups of small scale miners across six (6) regions in Ghana.
