I counsel graduate students pursuing the Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering Distance Learning program regarding their academic pursuits and progression. I serve as the point of contact for inquiries regarding AE's Distance Learning program and curriculum requirements. I perform degree audits for students graduating and provide support to students during the registration processes.

As the Graduation Counselor at the University Advisement Center (UAC) at Georgia State University, I provide counseling, advice, and assistance to students toward a timely degree progression. I review academic records, major selection, and coursework to evaluate students' progression. I develop a graduation progression plan which includes but is not limited to recommending appropriate course substitutions or adjustments in the degree program. I serve as a liaison to campus partners and work closely with the UAC Director in developing programs and practices for the academic departments in identifying and addressing barriers towards degree completion.

~Advise prospective and current students about academic program requirements, pathway completion and on campus resources.~Engage and facilitate recruitment events, information sessions, and orientations for prospective and new students. ~Perform graduation audits and develop student data in the Student Information System (Banner) and in DegreeWorks to ensure students are progressing through their academic programs in a timely manner and to certify completion of courses and non-course requirements for graduation. ~Serve as primary point of contact for students, faculty, admissions and coordinate communications regarding departmental and college regulation related to program requirements and the graduation process.
