About Juliet Rayment
I’m a qualitative health researcher and facilitator, holding space for difficult conversations. My heart is in maternity care, where I have nearly 20 years’ experience of using qualitative research methods to consult practitioners, community groups and individuals on their experience of services. I bring together real-life NHS knowledge and voluntary sector leadership with experience of ethnography (extended and rapid appraisal), interviews and focus groups – online and offline – as well as literature and scoping reviews and survey-based evaluation. I am currently a Strategy Manager at the Nursing and Midwifery Council.Until the end of March 2025, I am seconded to the Point of Care Foundation. As a Humanising Care Fellow, I am facilitating a collaborative project to explore what support student midwives need from those around them, so they can continue to build and maintain positive relationships with women, families, and colleagues during practice learning placements.
