About Juliette Backey
My career has always been based on my drawing and animation skills. With that foundation I have gone on to create motion graphics, e-learning programs, live-action video, and even graphic design. I love learning how to use new programs, plug-ins, and programming to create beautiful and engaging videos. After Effects is my favorite program, and I love using Adobe CC's dynamic link integration with other programs like Premier and Speedgrade.Drawing is my first love, so I have the ability to create any vector or raster graphics needed for a project. I've "built" animals, people, and machines in Illustrator that were fully animatable when imported into After Effects. Drawing assets is a fun part of creating motion graphics for me, so I look forward to projects where I can create it all from scratch. On the side I love to create digital art with Photoshop. I want to do more digital painting and hone my illustration skills. It's a good way to study lighting, color, anatomy, and composition. I believe learning about and creating traditional art is paramount in any art related career.I also love to crochet and cross stitch. It's a refreshing break from staring at a computer screen, and a chance to create something while being "unplugged".
Listed skills include Digital Illustration, Graphics, Animation, Web Design, and 11 others.
