Julie is an enthusiastic and highly dedicated individual with a proven track record for excellence. She holds several academic qualifications which are underpinned by a multi-lingual and multi-cultural skill set. Julie is fluent in French, Flemish (Dutch) and English, both written and spoken communication. Julie’s business experience has been built whilst working in the challenging field of IT within the mining industry and office management in the creative world of architecture. Within her various roles, Julie has been responsible for management of project administration, office management, staff management, human resources and planning functions. Inspired by personal life experiences, Julie chose to reset her career in order to make a positive contribution towards improving health care services in the community. Julie is currently a PhD Candidate in Cognitive Psychology at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), where she investigates the gamified format (i.e., adding game elements) of a web-delivered cognitive training intervention for chronic pain. She is also a Consumer Representative at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH).
