About Julie Weatherhead

Staying engaged, curious and compassionate with other's experiences strengthens my relationships and knowledge around a diverse client base. I am committed to meeting a client's needs, whether an individual or company, to assist in positive growth. Extremely passionate around grief processing and holding as a Grief Doula. Experience in one on one counseling, curriculum development, workshops and group settings. I have worked with clients from urban, suburban, rural and international backgrounds finding joy and challenges in all settings. Strong experience in developing curriculum around social emotional growth and facilitating practices which build a culture of positive relationships and growth mindset. I believe affective skills are necessary to all people's well being and future success- at any and all points of our journey.Life long learner, always striving to be a local and global citizen. I have assisted in building relationships and schools in Nicaragua, Malawi and Haiti with students through the organization buildOn. I am also a member of Peace for Paul, an organization that supports education and housing for children and families in Uganda.
