The Maryland on Economic Education, MCEE, focuses on enhancing and advancing economic and financial education for Maryland's teachers and students. MCEE provides professional development and curricular resources for K-12 teachers; engaging hands-on programs and challenging academic competitions for K-12 students; as well as dialogue with policy makers. Each year MCEE partners with the Maryland State Department of Education as well local school districts and the private school community to provide professional development to more than 2,000 teachers per year making them, better prepared teach their 185,000 students per year. Additionally, about 20,000 students per year participate in MCEE-facilitated statewide academic competitions. As the Executive Director, I manage all aspects of the organization including program management, fundraising, board development, and outreach to policy makers and partner organizations. I personally feel very passionate that financial education is an equity issue and that all students, regardless of their geographic and socioeconomic background, deserve access to obtaining the financial skills necessary for leading a successful life.

Led innovative effort to create a new approach to combat student financial stress and increase student retention through targeted outreach and education programming.Initiatives include:- Capturing and analyzing data on financial impediments to student success and creating customized proactive outreach to improve outcomes. A key focus was to identify obstacles to continued enrollment, particularly among under served populations, and to intervene proactively to reduce or eliminate barriers.- Identifying and maximizing campus wide collaborations between faculty, student support services, and business office to address student retention with an innovative 360 degree approach.- Creating campus wide student financial literacy programming including the evaluation and implementation technology, workshops, and one-to-one programs.- Serving as a liaison for students, faculty, and administrators regarding college financial planning and surrounding family issues. Specifically serve as a financial mentor for students with extreme financial challenges, including homeless students, former foster care students, and students without parental involvement.- Founding member of the Home on the Hill initiative - focused on providing campus wide support services to combat food, clothing and housing insecurity on campus. - Key speaker at student acquisition programs.

Managed the operations and finances for an international higher education association and helped create and manage the Towson University Professional Leadership Program for Women. The Towson University Professional Leadership Program for Women is a multi-dimensional leadership development program for rising women executives to give them the skills to ascend to the C suite.

Responsible for managing the introduction, sales, and relationship management of Corporate Services to the Bank's Investment Banking and Private Wealth Management clients. These services include reserve cash management strategies, equity plans for employees and management, qualified and non-qualifed retirement plans, and directed shares programs. Specialty in addressing the needs of companies going through a liquidity event or change of control, foreign issuers listing on a U.S. exchange, and multi-national corporations.

Responsible for the sales and marketing of Employee Stock Option and Employee Stock Purchase Plan Service to clients of the Investment Bank and Private Wealth Management.

Responsible for the marketing of Alex. Brown and Sons' services to support the management of Qualified and Non-Qualifed Retirement Plans for companies and organizations in the Southeast United States.
