Hi!First of all, I am not interested in:Career coaching, financial/insurance/sales anything or franchises of any kind.I would like to tell you a story.I’m not the type to job hop. I was raised to be committed to my employer, so that is what became of me in the past 14 years. I had made it through pay cuts, layoffs, a split-up, and an acquisition under the same employer. I dedicated much of my time meeting deadlines as a subcontractor for a government agency doing software development and overseeing projects as a project manager. In late 2023, my original manager and many of the co-workers in my department had left as a result of an unhealthy work environment and I eventually followed suit several months later.MY EXPERIENCEI have years of technical, project management and team leadership/collaboration experience, interpersonal communication skills with various levels of management, am adaptable, respectful, trustworthy, and have integrity. I wore many hats in the past 14 years. I was a confidant, a leader, a focused worker, and a liaison.CAREER BREAKI had decided to take a career break for personal reasons. So, what have I been doing? Photography and traveling. I enjoy landscape, macro, and night sky photography. My love for travel allows me to meet new people and experience new cultures, and I am also an avid windsurfer.DREAM JOBYes, I’m looking for that fully remote dream job, which involves being exposed to different opportunities and responsibilities. Am I open to some travel? Possibly. Sure, I’ve been in software development for a number of years, but I want to pursue a different direction in my career at this stage. To ask me what role I’m looking for is difficult to answer because I have many different skill sets. It only takes that one employer to give me that chance. I’m motivated to learn because I’m a curious person. A candidate should not have to have 100% of the skills listed in your job post. Otherwise, how will they grow?
