I am committed to Indigenous economic participation and contribution. To me, this is the most significant way to put reconciliation into action. It is with gratitude that I have learned from and worked with incredible leaders, advocates and allies throughout my career. I do my best to promote the inclusion and recognition of Indigenous worldviews through business and economic development. I have done this in a variety of ways including working with and for many Indigenous communities, including the beautiful Northern Village of Pinehouse. I have over a decade of board service ensuring Indigenous perspectives are considered at strategic tables for a number of non-profit organizations and for the crown sector. I believe energy production and resource development are both sectors that are fundamentally obligated to create significant impact for Indigenous engagement. I have experienced creative and positive outcomes throughout the Saskatchewan supply network both from the side of an Indigenous-owned supplier as well as from inside the largest global potash producer Nutrien. Currently working for Saskatchewan’s largest crown utility I have the opportunity to draw from my experience with unique opportunities such as participating in negotiating the first collaboration agreement in Northern Saskatchewan’s uranium sector as well as leading the development of a comprehensive Potash Indigenous Supply Chain Strategy. I have passion for the work I do and I strive to approach it with courage, curiosity, empathy and humility. I am committed to meeting people where they are in addressing our shared history as Canadians by creating safe spaces for respectful dialogue. I believe healing happens when truth is acknowledged.

This has been an excellent experience allowing for a deep dive into a company and all aspects of Executive/Operational Management. As CEO of PBN, I was tasked to lead PBN through developmental and corporate change with the intent to expand and grow within the mining/construction sector. Director Of CommunicationsMetis Nation - Saskatchewan Jan 2009 - Jun 2009Working as the Director of Communications for the Métis Nation – Saskatchewan I have gained a one of a kind education regarding the direction of the Métis citizens of Saskatchewan, and the barriers that exist in the current climate of Aboriginal inclusion in Saskatchewan. I feel strongly that the future of this province lies with the fastest growing population of Métis and First Nations. My goal as the Communications Director was to change the perception of Métis people, and highlight the successes and added value that this culture lends to this diverse province.
