Improving ease of manufacturing within Cubic Corporation by directly supporting the headquarters' production floor on various commercial and defense projects; primarily working on secured communications defense projects. Senior responsibility consists of acting as a liaison between engineering, program management offices and production control. Primary role consists of generating work instructions on NPI and legacy product lines, completing design reviews, implementing engineering change orders, and supporting quality with quality notifications and fulfilling corrective actions. Secondary role consists of providing manufacturing support to other production plants and serving as receiving and transfer site lead with production plant facility transfers.

Responsible for creating work instructions and routings for new product introductions, performing design reviews via ECOs in PLM, and creating quality notifications to address any issues during prototype/early production builds. Additionally, provided support to Cubic’s manufacturing plants outside of San Diego by providing drawing clarification, leading PLM trainings, and migrating design data into PLM. Extra bandwidth was dedicated towards supporting process improvements such as sole/single source burn down efforts, supplier scorecard improvements, and development of standard workflows (Software Sharing, Work Instructions, Label Fabrication).

Main job duties consisted of completing drawing release requests as per export compliance guidelines, creating and fabricating MIL-STD-130 labels and silkscreen masters, and updating part record’s production plant data and material master.

Served as a student assistant for the college's main library and for the College of Human and Health Services. In the library, I helped students connect to the wifi on a variety of devices, found resolutions for Blackboard and Zoom issues, and resolved other technical problems in person or by phone. Additionally, I submitted service now tickets for all faculty related IT problems. In the College of Human and Health Services, I produced an inventory log consisting of PCs, laptops, printers, and other equipment pertaining to specific laboratories using ServiceNow.
