With 13 years of experience in education working with the NYC Department of Education, and 2 years as a tech trainer for older adults at a nonprofit, I have had the privilege of guiding learners of all ages through their educational journeys. Recently, I was promoted to Technology Education Manager for older adults at Presbyterian Senior Services (PSS), where I continue to see the transformative power of learning.Throughout my career, I’ve experienced the cyclical nature of learning, understanding that each learner—whether a child, young adult, or older adult—brings a unique style and pace to the process. From hands-on learners to visual thinkers, the diversity of learning types is endless, making the role of educator both challenging and deeply rewarding. Teaching is never a one-size-fits-all model, and the joy of discovering how to unlock each individual’s potential has been a constant motivator.What stands out the most is the enduring truth that learning is infinite—whether helping a child grasp foundational skills or supporting an older adult in mastering new technology, the excitement of learning never diminishes. The ability to teach and inspire learners of all ages has been the hallmark of my career, and I look forward to continuing this mission in my new role.
