My name is Julio. I was born and raised in Tijuana México. I graduated with a degree in Graphic Design in 2004 from the Universidad Iberoamericana del Noroeste. I have carried out a significant number of activities and responsibilities unrelated to design that have enriched my profile, like music and editing. I started my carrer in advertising agencies where I learned delivery time management and project planning. In addition, I learned to talk with clients and determine their needs in order to help them promptly and in the best way. I took this experience and dedicated myself for more than 15 years solving graphic and organizational problems as an Independent Art Director, where I made web pages, posters, internal communication (for a university, a blood bank and/or international companies like Philip Morris, Landor, Ogilvy), logos, editorial design (such as magazine and book design), video and audio editing, photography, and more. In 2014 I arrived at CDMX and managed to work in several international class design agencies. I participated in various redesign projects (such as Pemex) where I organized delivery times, delegated functions and responsibilities as Editorial Coordinator to a team of 5 people. I continue to support new companies (start-ups) as an Independent Art Director, offering my professional services. My most recent performance is at the Cineteca Nacional where I work as a Digital Image Restorer. There I worked together with other departments so that the films of the 20th century in the national heritage could be restored and shown at international festivals and/or in private screenings.
