Despite economic pressures like inflation, Chile showed resilience, achieving a 2.5% growth in total wine depletions and 1% in bottled wine. Particularly, Chile excelled in the $11-$14.99 price segment, with a growth of 2.58%.● During 2023, I was responsible for financing, leading and organizing 23 annual activities in the USA & Canadian markets, that engaged 1600 consumers in exclusive WOC events, achieving media coverage equivalent to U$15,000,000.

● Starting new challenges in a new market, the USA, 2020 was unique, as all actions and marketing efforts shifted 100% to digital, and some channels disappeared from the equation. Therefore, we had to develop digital programs entirely aimed at supporting our consumers during the pandemic.● Our partnership with Wine.com in 2020 led to two successful promotions in May and September, achieving a 380% sales increase in May ($415,000) and a 495% increase in September, focusing on premium Chilean wines. Our PR efforts included a Beverage Media Group advertorial reaching over 10 million people and trade announcements highlighting rising Chilean wine sales. The Gary's Chile Promotion, in partnership with Wine Spectator, ran for three months, generating 11 million impressions and boosting sales by 19% compared to 2019. The Master of the World initiative sent 148 mini wine kits to trade members, with 40 journalists attending our online tasting. We also featured 12 Chilean wineries in a Wine Spectator advertorial focused on sustainability and Cabernet Sauvignon. Our partnership with Vinepair included articles, infographics, a popular Cabernet Quiz taken by over 50,000 American consumers, IGTV stories with renowned US chefs, and display ads reaching 8 million consumers, featuring 60 Chilean wines.

● Focused primarily on China, achieving significant market share for Chilean wines. ● Successfully elevated Chilean wine's perception in China to establish a sustainable Super-Premium positioning. ● Achieved significant growth in bottled Chilean wine exports to China (FOB) between 2014 and 2019, with a 191% increase in volume (9-liter cases) and a 236% increase in value.● By 2019, Chile reached the second position in the ranking after France, with an outstanding super-premium position and more than 70 wineries offering fine wines in China.● Expanded exports of Fine Chilean Wines priced above $400 (9 liters) from 2,498 cases in 2015 to 19,654 cases in 2020.● Expanded super premium & fine wine market penetration in Japan and Korea, working closely with the sommelier associations of both countries and the on-trade sector to establish Chile as a top wine origin in the minds of key trade professionals.● Conducted successful market penetration activities in Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, and Russia, positioning Chile and its wines as B-focus markets for our brand.

● I was responsible for opening the Wines of Chile office in China, based in Shanghai. ● At that time, we established the Steering Committee, a support body for the work of the Wines of Chile office, which was composed on a rotating basis by seven of the most important wineries based in China. Together, we managed to align a strategy of premiumization and positioning for Chile in the market.

● Focused on promoting Chilean exports, particularly in the agricultural sector, including fruits and wines, during my leadership at ProChile in Shanghai.● Achieved a significant increase in fruit shipments, reaching US$533 million in 2013 with a notable growth rate of 46%.● Orchestrated the first-ever charter flight transporting Chilean cherries to China in December of that year, a historic milestone that boosted fruit exports and enhanced our diversification efforts in Asia.

● Key involvement in the creation of the new bankruptcy law in Chile as part of the Cabinet of the Minister of Economy, focusing on improving the regulatory framework in corporate governance, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Since its implementation, this legislation has brought significant advancements, notably in efficiency and speed, with resolution times reduced to approximately 90 days. Additionally, there has been an increase in asset recovery for creditors due to more transparent and effective procedures. Furthermore, the legislation has enhanced the protection of creditor rights and transparency in processes, thereby strengthening confidence in the insolvency system.● Leadership in the legislative implementation of the Competitive Boost Agenda in Chile streamlined business registration through the "Your Company in a Day" platform, reducing costs and setup time for entrepreneurs. It boosted innovation and entrepreneurship, increasing access to funding and attracting international startups through programs like "Start-Up Chile." Additionally, regulatory reforms enhanced market competition and efficiency. The promotion of foreign direct investment improved the business climate, making Chile an attractive destination for investors. Lastly, it strengthened digital infrastructure, increasing high-speed internet access and promoting digitalization across key economic sectors.
