- Supervised drilling operations as a night company man in the Delaware basin. Main duties include providing continuous supervision of all operations and logistics in the well site. Implement drilling operations and ensure they are completed as scheduled, while following and practicing proper well control and safety measures. Execute daily reporting on operational progress.- Prior to heading to the field, I was performing real-time monitoring in our real-time operations support center, MaxCom. My main duties included providing operational support to 6 drilling rigs operating in the Delaware basin in SE New Mexico and West Texas. Support included cementing calculations, casing design, BHA design and parameter optimization. Assisted in the new well permitting and planning stage by creating directional well plans, wellbore schematics, DVD curves, bit and mud weight selection, cementing volumes and writing drilling programs. Also, initiated a torque and drag calibration project in order to better predict friction factors for our 2-2.5 mile lateral drilling campaign.

• In charge of providing technical support on new product development, including field testing and improving performance of sidetracking system used in conjunction with Level 5 Multilateral Systems.• In charge of introducing borehole enlargement technology to Sakhalin for a major exploration project offshore Sakhalin. Complete project support and BHA optimization including: Hydraulic analysis, drilling parameter optimization, jar placement and writing operating procedures.• Introduced Hydraulic Disconnect Sub used in conjunction with a sacrificial string in order to perform a 2,500m P&A cementing job in one trip, saving the customer 3-4 days of rig time.• Provide continuous support to customer, including contingency BHAs for P&A and fishing operations.• Provide software support by running Hydraulics, jar placements, Torque and Drage, window exit simulations, IDEAS simulations and Stress BHA. • Continuous operations support to provide new business opportunities, introducing new technology and sustaining current product offerings.• Focal point between customer, operations and HQ engineering.
