Direct and lead live broadcasts:• I was responsible for directing and technical directing Univision Atlanta's weekday newscasts at 6pm and 11pm.• My responsibilities were managing the production side of the newscast. I guided the crew to create a fresh perspective to camera shots and maintain camera operation skills.• Created and designed graphics for the newscast using a Viz/Trio and Adobe Photoshop.• Helped talent with script organization and time management during the live newscast (Inews).• Helped with the video editing of the VO and national PKG we used during the broadcast.• At Univision Atlanta I had the opportunity to help launch the first HD newscast at 6 and 11pm. After my third day of directing the newscast we went to be live on air for the first time in 8 years. • Helped to produce and direct the first online broadcast of a political debate for the Latino audience. We used a Panasonic AV-HS300G as well a Live U.- 2014 EMMY Award for Outstanding Achievement:Television Crafts Achievement Excellence DIRECTOR -TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

North Carolina A.K.A Univision 40 had the great experience as well to lead newscasts 6, 11 pm and their variety program Nuestra Carolina. I had the opportunity to cover the Democratic National Convention for local and national newscast. For coverage of the DNC the U40 Team was nominated for an Emmy for best coverage team. The promos were produced, recorded, edited and directed by me.Direct and lead live broadcasts:• Creative direction of talent and crews with either multi-camera or single-camera shooting from the Control Room (and on location) during broadcast. • While the main emphasis is news, this position also was to direct all types of television station programs--sports, promotion, local programming, community affairs, commercials and remotes. • Consults with Producer, Anchors and other crew members on production needs.

I was Director / Technical Director in the morning news cast and midday show.My job was to ensure all positions were manned and all equipment and facilities were checked out and ready before the recording session or live broadcast began. I switched video sources, performed live digital effects and transitions, and inserted pre-recorded material, graphics and titles as instructed by the director.As the Technical Director I provided training to inexperienced members of the technical crew when needed. Along with the director, I contributed to the creative side of the production, depending on the situation.

I was responsible to direct the morning newscast for NBC and Fox.Wilmington NC.
