About Julio Bertoni

Last 30 years in agribusiness companies with solid experience in different industries (Bioproducts, Agrochemicals, Fertilizers and Seeds) and different areas (Business Development, General Management, Sales and Marketing). Vast knowledge of the Brazilian agricultural market, focusing on building and leadership of high performance teams, especially in companies undergoing restructuring: responsible for leading the start of BiomCrop activities in Brazil in 2022, which already stands out in the biological market with a focus on Regenerative Agriculture; in charge of building the MICROGEO grow strategy to take advantage of the good moment of biological products in the brazilian market (increased significantly in 2019, 2020 and 2021); took part of ADAMA restructuration since 2012; in BAYER participated in segmentation project as the first VIP Manager (responsible for the biggest farmers in the Cerrado) and work in Cargill when it was beginning in Fertilizer segment in Brazil. Previously, was Professor in the Soil Science and Plant Nutrition Department at State University of Minas Gerais (UEMG). This growth continued in subsequent years, reaching a turnover more than double since this Business Unit was created and the triple in margin due to the significant improvement in the mix of products. That's why this Business Unit was divided in two new Business Unit.
