Currently working at PwC as a Senior Data & Analytics Consultancy Manager, I lead data-related projects that help our clients improve their results. The projects I lead range from maturity assessment and defining the right data strategy for the company to implementing platforms, data products and data culture.At XP Investimentos I structured and led the data platform and data governance team between Jun-20 and Jan-23 where I established the data governance discipline from the beginning, idealized and led the implementation of the data marketplace and led the expansion of the use of Databricks, enabling the data democratization in the company.At Santander Bank, I worked in the areas of CRM, Risk, Technology and Data Strategy. My work in the CRM and Risk areas was focused on creating and leading data teams to structure databases, reports and analyzes that support business decision-making.Working in the IT department, I was responsible for the first big data projects at Santander Bank, structuring the area from the beginning to being the manager of several technology projects and leading technical teams that reached a little over 60 people (including employees and service providers) distributed in squads and a CAPEX of approximately BRL 40 million per year.Main professional achievements in the last 5 years:- Promoted to senior manager after only six months at PwC due to outstanding performance in a data strategy and governance project with a client in financial sector.- Elected XP’s Partner in 2021.- Evolution of XP's data platform, enabling new technical capabilities, increasing the environment's security, ensuring adherence to data protection requirements.- Structuring of the Data Governance discipline at XP, highlighting the implementation of the Data Marketplace using open source software and process automation.- Data democratization measured through the number of areas and users enabled in the XP data environment, initially limited to the data team and expanding to more than 1,000 active users per month spread throughout the company.- 50% reduction in Databricks cost per user due to infrastructure and code optimizations.- Savings of approximmately BRL 8 million with the implementation of the Data Marketplace developed internally instead of hiring a market tool such as Collibra or Informatica, reviewing data purchase contracts and automating processes.- Leadership of the first Big Data projects at Banco Santander. Project management following agile methodology, with multidisciplinary teams composed of employees and third parties.
