Managing and negotianting inter-requirements trade-offs and systems price/quality ratio to secure car's quality and profitability.• Led NVH Development team on vehicle refinement and part cost/quality optimisation, securing econmy of few euros per manufactured car, representing at large scale few million Euros in profit for the company.• Looked after all thermal benchmark, customer requirements, V-cycle deploiement and validation tests (Wind tunnel and site testing in Spain-summer and Kiruna-winter), generating two innovation patents (one of them being used in Twingo and Smart cars) and colaborated on the cost/quality optmisation of these new cars. • Led the thermal confort deploiement and validation to customer requirements of the first Renault's EV car (FLUENCE) and patented an innovative 'heat pump' system for the ZOE-EV car.• Benchmarked the Indian automotive market and established the thermal customer requirements for the thermal comfort of a future low-cost. • Optimised the cost to performance ratio of the thermal system (HVAC, in-cabin thermal signature, etc) and still achieving the customer product quality. • Led R&D projects and implemented new test procedures in ride comfort and vehicle acoustics, and deployed them at Renault worldwide. This is allowing more robust test and validation results and is shortening the time to product by estimated 30% in road-comfort.

R&D Project Manager - RENAULT F1 TEAM – England • Managed the development of a new gearbox test facility from inception to completion: prepared technical specification, led internal and external development teams and negotiated the contract/budget with suppliers achieving a cost cut of about 15% in a test facility of about 1 million Euros. This test facility allowed the F1 Team to improve transmissions reliability and race strategies, shortening time to performance, saving in track testing and helped the team to be champion in 2005 and 2006. • Implemented vibration and dynamic analysis techniques, which have been used to improve the F1 car’s performance and reliability. These dynamic testing methods allowed the team to implement the innovative dynamic damper in F1 in 2005, which was essential for the team’s exceptional achievements in the championships 2005 and 2006. Tackled a last minute chassis issue after short dynamic test and proposed a solution to increase full chassis bending stiffness, which allowed Jarno Trulli to gain 1s per lap and ultimately win the Monaco GP in 2004, worth to the team about 10 million Euros.• Designed and built up a special load cell device for measuring the axial force in the clutch assembly of the F1 car. This measuring device allowed performing a very complicated clutching load measurement allowing the improvement of the launch control of Renault’s F1 car from 2004, which allowed the team to achieve exceptional results from 2004 to 2006, earning the team multi-million Euros.
