I am a CPA, licensed in the State of New York, with 15+ years of experience in both public and private accounting. I hold Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance along with a minor in Economics from Ithaca College, Ithaca, New York.In early 2022, I set out on a personal journey that I dubbed my “career halftime” to recharge, reflect and refocus. After spending some real quality time with my family and exploring life outside of an office, I got the itch to start a new chapter in my career. However, I now had a strong conviction to do something very different, beyond accounting, in an area that over time I grew a deep appreciation and passion for (total rewards, equity programs, psychology of money/habits, financial literacy, creative benefits, etc.). After a few months of exploring, I was shocked to see this seemingly perfect open role at Lemonade and became giddy with excitement once the reality settled in of the opportunity to come back to a place where I always felt such warmth from and affinity for...especially after learning that the feeling was mutual.
