It kept me deeply motivated by nurturing skills such as interpersonal, problem solving, creativity, sensitivity and positive demeanor.The Departmental Trainer role was created one year after the opening and the Management Team elected me to perform it. It was an addition to the Bell & Door Host role and consisted in coaching and training new Team Members – task which I was already designated to execute three months after the hotel opening.

After the check in I inform them about the hotel facilities and their locations - regarding their personal preferences - while directing them to their rooms and helping with their luggage all the time.I assist our Guests with all enquiries, both hotel and non-hotel related and stay up to date within the local vicinity cultural events, news and useful information (i.e. transport systems timetables). I call taxis, make restaurant/event reservations and am always trying to improve our hotels revenue by promoting our internal services first (restaurant / bar) whenever possible.I help our Hotel's reception within many aspects; including the mobility ones, with document/item delivery from 'anywhere to everywhere' - to acknowledge the importance of teamwork in this kind of quality service is an everyday demand.This profession is physically demanding due to our hotel's large and sepparated areas, with lots of steps and ramps. Besides making me fit, this necessity to walk through all hotel facilities gives me the possibility to notice any potential problems, warn our maintenance about anything out of normal or in need of a repair. It also makes me able to keep a feeling of a constant and kind presence to our hotel Guests and their important needs.I offer Team and Guest assistance in every way possible, always smiling and being respectful. All of our Guest's wishes become my wish aswell to fulfill.
