As an operations manager, my responsibilities included implementing new solutions to the company's workflows, helping with the introduction of memoQ and XTRF, as well as providing support in streamlining the in-house processes and workflows.

I acted as the project manager for a leading remote connectivity and IT management service provider. I was responsible for the localization of multiple sub-brands into 40 languages, including web and software user interfaces, native apps, display ads, email marketing and whitepapers. I also worked on client accounts in the life science, automotive and consumer electronics industries, coordinating projects that required senior experience, cooperation with the sales team and exceptional workflow management skills.Besides being part of a localization team, I had other tasks that kept me close to engineering as well. My skills in both areas helped me in both workflow optimization and providing distinguished in-house support that enables quick interaction between professionals with different backgrounds.

Being a global project manager at milengo, I was a member of a 10-people PM-team, responsible for translation projects for an international clientele.Having to cope with the difficulties of management and production being located in different parts of the world, I became both confident and comfortable with working in a global environment. The large number of accounts to handle also helped me develop skills of parallel project management and multi-tasking.

As a trainee of the localization team, my responsibilities ranged over various fields, such as project management and engineering, including but not limited to tasks in pre-and postprocessing of files for translation, coordinating vendors, DTP and quality assurance. As a result, I acquired hands-on experience in back office processes and while managing projects under the supervision of a lead PM, I gained an invaluable understanding of projects on a larger scale and skills facilitating smooth teamwork.

Summer job each year through July and August (3 festivals/year)I gained my first experiences in client liaison via lengthy, high-pressure shifts working at three of the most prestigious European music festivals. My responsibilities included managing the festival's accreditation system, coordinating ticket sales for VIP guests and performers as well as being a point of contact for the press, marketing, catering, and program planning departments.
