I spent more than 10 years specializing in retail and marketing fields, working with global brands such as Apple, Sony, Carrefour, and Best Denki. At 2015 I decided to move my family to Bandung and start a career that match with my college degree, as a Civil Engineer. At the same time, I am managing a family-owned villa in Bandung.I have been a scuba diver since 2005 and my passion for the sea has brought me to remote places in Indonesia, especially the coastal areas. Sambung Asa is a company that I created together with a seaweed expert and a lifetime friend since college. Sambung Asa means ‘to keep preserving’ or ‘not to give up’ because along our journey we crossed paths with desperate farmers and fishermen. We encourage them to rise and start seaweed farming again. Our goal is to create sustainable seaweed farms in the coastal of Indonesia. A business and a profession that can be passed down to the next generations. Because we believe that nowadays we need more farmers to save the world
