The duties and job functions shall include, but are not limited to the following: •Participation/support in the preparation of proposals.•Participation in the preparation of schedules, professional manhours, and scope in support of the development of Process engineering activitiesAttend and participate in project/client meetings as part of the projects leadership.•Coordinate with Project Controls to provide schedule and cost progress reporting, and tracking of trends and change orders related to the design scope.Provide the following in the support of the production of engineering work packages, scoping studies, design basis, and engineering design specifications: • Complete detailed technical reviews of Contractor process technical data and operating philosophy to verify conformity with the Scope of Work, project design criteria, standards, codes, practices, operating philosophy, good industry practice and constructability. • Ensure QA/QC for all process deliverables.• Occasional site visits required for project scoping• Participate in Constructability Reviews, Risk Assessment Reviews, HAZOP Reviews, etc,•Explore, analyze, and introduce new design concepts (i.e., standardization and modularization), solutions, and innovative methods for achieving the Project's strategic objectives, relying on basic theory, sound principles, and original ideas.•Maintain functional relationships and work closely with discipline engineers.
