The team at High Eye is very small so everybody has multiple roles in the team. For me, I engineer, build, test fly and source manufacturers and components.

After Completing my Thesis at Electric I remained responsible for designing the Chassis and all other structural parts. Here I work Full time on many different parts of the vehicle:Main and sub Chassis Design and simulations using MCS APEX and SolidworksSuspension geometrie and structural design using MCS ADAMS, MCS Patran, MCS APEX, SolidworksPackaging of driveline and suspension components using Solidworks Production technics research for laser cutting and small volume production.Seatbelt regulations and calculations using MCS APEX and Solidworksand many other sub projects.

During my graduating internship I worked for the Elentric Project founded by Van Lent Systems. The goal of Electric is to design and build a small affordable electric car for families to safely and environmentally move around in cities. Here I was single handed designing a new improved vehicle beam chassis which could provide a safety during a crash but also be light weight and cheap to make. Because of limiting software the biggest challenge during my graduation was to make a prediction of crash safety while only conducting Lineair Static Simulation. To do this I did a lot of research in non-Lineair behavior during crashes. I completed my thesis with an 8

Managing +- 30 Students during the shell eco-marathon project for the Hogeschool Rotterdam. Working towards two race vehicles which compete in the Shell Eco-marathon.

Right after my internship at PAL-V I continued working for PAL-V in the spare hours beside my study.

During my 6 month internship at PAL-V I designed a completely new rotor righting mechanism. This mechanism used an integrated locking which could keep the mast into position during flight. I worked with the designers of PAL-V in order to improve the new prototype. I improved my knowledge over hydraulics, strength calculations, materials, dynamics and production techniques.

After completing high school i signed up for a volunteer program in America, here i helped national parks to remain beautiful, save and clean. I collaborated intensively with the local fire fighters and wild life protectors.
