I am a proud founding executive board member of SISAL Foundation, which stands for Supporting Indigenous Sustainability Abroad and Locally.SISAL is a 501c3 registered nonprofit. We stand against colonialism, patriarchy, unethical tourism and support female autonomy. Our projects are intentional, sustainable, and we always have an exit strategy in mind. We "win" when we are no longer needed. All projects are owned by the people we serve; we stake no claims or rights on our assistance or projects..SISAL strives to respect, protect, lift up, and give voice to indigenous communities.
