Responsibilities: Promote safety in the project through indoctrination and orientation of all personnel, and other Contractor’s personnel working in the project. Develop applicable safety standards for the project, in accordance with the Companies Safety Manual and government regulations. Maintain liaison with insurers, local inspectors and others on matters of safety. Maintain overall responsibility for the project first-aid facility and maintain required safety records. Coordinates the interpretation of local legislation and company policy pertinent to safety and health. Develops andmaintains procedures and programs to create and reinforce awareness of safety and health, both on and off the job. Promotes injury-free operations by ensuring that appropriate safety rules are communicated to both company andcontractor employees. Compiles safety and health data and statistics and reports information to the project management. Recommends or conduct training as necessary to promote understanding of safety and health procedures andpolicies and to combat hazardous practices. Performs daily safety inspection and reviews the result with the site supervision and ensure that all deficiencies arecorrected. Advise project management on the provision and the use of personal protective equipments. Investigates accident, determine causes, and recommends corrective actions. Advises supervision and acts as consultant on safety matters. Assists safety supervisor in carrying out his duties and responsibilities and in the letters absence or on project withoutone, assumes supervisory and other functions called for on the project. Assists safety supervisor in conducting full investigation of accident/incident, including near-misses. Determinesprobable causes, develops circulates and enforces appropriate permanent preventive measures.

Responsibilities: Conduct first aid and CPR (cardio pulmonary resuscitation) trainings and seminars. Held talks regarding home, community health and safety awareness. Respond to emergencies and disasters.
