ACM SIGPWNY is the largest Computer Science club at UIUC, catering to students who are passionate about cybersecurity topics. Our club not only provides a comprehensive platform for learning about the latest developments in the field, but we also actively participate in Capture The Flag events on a national level. It is a testament to our team's hard work and dedication that we have achieved a ranking of 6th in the USA on CTFTime.org, highlighting our strength in cybersecurity. As an Admin I facilitate and develop weekly meetings with a strong turnout of up to 100 students. Additionally, I actively promote the club to garner the attention of potential sponsors, thereby increasing our funding and resources to provide even more opportunities for our members.

The President’s Award Program (PAP) assists the University of Illinois to enroll highly capable students who have been admitted to one of the U of I campuses and are members of historically underrepresented groups and groups that have been less likely to enroll at the University. The broad goal of the program is to ensure and enrich the diversity of the student body. The University of Illinois believes that a diverse student body enhances the quality of education for all students. High achieving newly-admitted freshmen from several underrepresented groups are considered for the PAP award. To be eligible for consideration, students must be Illinois residents and have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement while graduating from an Illinois high school.

As a Peer Mentor, I have had the privilege of working with minority engineering students to help them successfully transition to university life. My role has involved providing guidance and support to these students, as well as facilitating lessons to educate them on the on-campus resources available to engineering students. Through my efforts, students have been able to access important services such as tutoring, research opportunities, and networking events. In addition, I have directed and moderated weekly meetings with colleagues to discuss strategies for improving students' academic performance and enhancing their overall university experience. I am committed to helping minority engineering students succeed, and I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the field of education.

The Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship Program is a renowned scholarship that provides financial assistance to academically outstanding students from underserved backgrounds, helping them pursue higher education.
