Success in Soccer rests on three pillars: 1) Soccer - the technical and tactical abilities and other soccer- related skills2) Fitness - the physical capabilities like speed, strength and athleticism3) Mindset - the mental strength und other cognitive skills and mindsetsThe weakest pillar is the limit. One can be the best soccer player with the best technical skills and the strongest physical abilities, but if one can't perform when the pressure is on and it really matters, he/she won't become as successful as he/she could have been.Looking back at my career in Germany, I put too much pressure on myself and sometimes was my worst enemy. Today I am the support that I wished I had when I was younger.As a Mental Performance Coach I am supporting players (amateurs till pros) with the mental side of the game so that they can develop the mindset of a pro and fulfill their full potential. My mission is to make mental training, coaching and personal development a vital part of modern Soccer Education - in accordance with the statement: "Develop people, not just players."

The opportunity to go to America on a soccer scholarship and perfectly combine studies and soccer is a great chance for young players. I am thankful for my experiences as a Student-Athlete at NC State University. As a scout and consultant, I identify and advise soccer players who are interested in this opportunity and educate them about this path. With my personal experience, I can support them in the application and decision-making process.I also plan and coordinate travel trips of American soccer teams to Europe in order to provide more players with these unforgettable experiences. As a Leadership Coach and active Student-Athlete, I acted as a mentor to a group of up to 10 youth players, teaching them weekly "Leadership Lessons" and assisting them in their athletic and personal development.

Being a Student-Athlete at NC State University taught me a lot about high performance, time management, leadership, discipline and more... As captain of the NC State Men's Soccer Team, I served as the liaison between the team and the coaching staff, helping to establish a mission and specific goals for the team. I also integrated new student-athletes into the team and led up to 27 players on and off the field.Together as a team we entered the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 9 years.

I assisted the Director of Student-Athlete Development, who supports student-athletes in their personal, social, professional, and athletic development. I organized seminars, workshops, conferences and community service activities. We also developed Personal Development Programs that included mental health, financial literacy, diversity/inclusion, and sexual assault education and prevention.
