Icelandic Lava Show is a new and exciting choice in entertainment tourism, completely different from anything else you've ever experienced. The show recreates a volcano eruption, similar to what Eyjafjallajökull and Katla volcano are famous for. By melting real lava and pouring it onto ice in a room full of people, it is a unique opportunity to safely experience the dramatic battle between ice and fire, to hear the red-hot lava sizzling, smell the melting minerals and feel the heat that radiates from it. The show is located in the heart of Vík in South-Iceland, the town nestled in the midst of Katla Geo Park, and is a unique entertainment choice where visitors embark on an adventure about the power of mother earth that is both enlightening and exhilarating.

Currently working towards launching Icelandic Lava Show, a new and exciting entertainment option for tourists in Iceland where they can experience a live show of red hot lava and its dramatic encounter with ice.

Responsible for creating a new and appealing product portfolio, bundling together telecommunication services and multi-media, with the goal of increasing sales in both areas and maximizing profits. This involved extensive financial analysis, market research analysis, sales planning, revenue forecasting, packaging, messaging, internal presentation and training, as well as overseeing progress and making necessary changes when needed.

Responsible for the whole product development process, including making product decisions based on market research, profit analysis and marketability with the goal of maximizing profits. The job required extensive calculative ability, financial understanding and marketing capability. Further, I was responsible for the packaging and messaging of products as it was vital to portray them in a meaningful way to our sales and service staff and, of course, the customers.As one of the key employees of Tal, I played a vital role in turning the business around, eventually resulting in the merger of TAL (telecommunications) and 365 (multi-media organization).

I have gained extensive experience in marketing and innovation as Brand Manager at Vífilfell hf., the bottler of Coca-Cola in Iceland, where I planned, developed and directed the marketing efforts for brands such as Sprite, Fanta, Burn, Powerade, Aquarius and Magic for the Icelandic market. As a brand manager, I have been responsible for coordinating activities of specialists in production, sales, advertising, promotion, research and development, purchasing, distribution, package development and finance for these brands over the 4 year period I have worked for Vífilfell. I have gained experience in international relationships and cooperation through working with Coca-Cola Nordic Services in Denmark by managing projects with people from many countries.

As general manager of c360°, a small photography company that specialized in real estate photography, I was in charge of all the daily business and administrative tasks, sales and marketing, and communication with customers.
