At Palo Alto Networks, I was a member of the CPE (customer platform experience) QA team, sustaining engineering. Due to the nature of the role and the company I do not spend a significant amount of time working at any particular level of the network stack or protocol. I work with development engineers and support personnel to recreate a customer issue and verify that the proposed fix resolves the issue with introducing other problems. From a resume stand point I have worked with the whole stew of network acronyms. From the practical side I can get up to speed in any area, understand the sometimes obscure area that caused the problem, build the necessary infrastructure necessary to test the fix, and document everything and do it in an efficient and timely manner.
