In my role as senior application manager, I manage several applications: MS Dynamics NAV, SharePoint 2010 and Suites voor het Sociale Domein (application for social services). I support users when they are having problems and implement new processes. Build queries to support user questions. Inventory and translate user requirements. I also take part in larger IT related projects like upgrades and implementing new software.

I have been working with SharePoint since 2008. At first in SharePoint (MOSS) 2007, later on I had a lead role in the migration to a SharePoint 2010 environment. Next to the some bigger projects, there were a lot of smaller adjustments that were made in SharePoint. Things like small workflows that update the Active Directory and publishing statistics with Excel Services. We also use a report planner that publishes reports in PDF format to several SharePoint document libraries where Nintex workflows take care of the metadata. I made CAML queries, build workflows that queries external data such as the LDAP and SQL databases. I worked with managed metadata configurations and made site collections and search configurations. I have used Symego data synchronisation studio to pull external data into SharePoint 2007/2010. On a number of team sites I created customised solutions that made the team work more efficient. Next to my work with SharePoint I also translate the information questions that come from the organisation (mainly the management) into reports. I have build reports in SQL Reporting, Jet Reports and made SQL Views that are pulled into Excel and styled with pivots and graphics (sometimes published to SharePoint and shown with Excel Services). Tools we also use(d) are timeXtender (DWH/Cubes) and Targit (reporting).I also have to advise the management about which future steps to take in the development of BI, reporting and SharePoint functionality.
