Commercial Counsel, EMEA @ Stripe. I support the EMEA Platforms Go To Market team. I provide commercial legal advice in the context of large, complex deals with Stripe's biggest global SaaS platforms and marketplaces, and am responsible for drafting, negotiating and closing deals with platform users (inc. e.g., AJ Bell, Booking.com, Deliveroo, Sage, Shopify, Spryker, TripActions/Navan and Wix). I am the EMEA commercial legal lead with responsibility for the following Stripe products: Connect (our global money movement platform) and Issuing/BaaS (the creation and issuance of cards for expense and business purposes). In addition, I work on global scaling and efficiency initiatives and am involved in implementing public-company readiness processes and policies.Prior to Stripe, I had a broad tech practice working for a range of clients from household names to disrupters, with an emphasis on the tech, media and consumer brands sectors. My tech practice covered digital transformation projects, global product launches, app development and licensing, cloud-based outsourcing arrangements, hardware procurement, SaaS agreements and tech transactions. I also regularly advised on the use, protection and commercialisation of data in the context of digital platforms and consumer products, including GDPR compliance, privacy by design, data safety, incident response and adtech. And worked on wider commercial matters, including distribution, sponsorship, licensing, franchising, advertising and consultancy arrangements.
