The code is more robust, readable, and extensible, and the overall efficiency of the service has been significantly improved after my redesign (the QPS of the purchase order API increased 500% (from 40 to 240)).• Led a small team including two other team members to refactor the existing purchase order system APIs to store order data into the mother company’s database and developed a data-sync tool to sync order data to our database. Taking advantage of the new platform, configurations that previously needed 3 working days, as well as cross-department collaboration, can now be completed by one employee in half of an hour, which saved 99% time.• Built ‘Noah-cache’ tool which caches method’s return value by adding one annotation on it.
