Jun Lin is Senior Advisor for Policy, Government and Public Affairs at Chevron Asia Pacific Exploration and Production Company. In this capacity, he supports Chevron leadership team managing government affairs, stakeholder engagement and strategic communications in eight countries in the region. Prior to taking the post in February 2013, Jun Lin worked with Chevron China for 7 years. He participated in negotiations of LNG trading agreements, and supported Chevron’s capture of a sour gas project in China in 2007. In May 2008, Jun became Manager of Policy, Government and Public Affairs for Chevron China, playing a key role in managing government relations and supporting Chevron’s capture of new growth opportunities. Before joining Chevron, Jun worked with the US-China Business Council in Beijing from July 2004 to June 2006, where he conducted comprehensive analysis of political, economic and business developments, managed the Council’s government relations, and monitored key policy issues.
