Wholesales & Treasury Operations

• Coordinates with internal stakeholders on UAT initiative to systems and have led several such initiatives.• Comprehensive data management by performing analysis on the reports generated from the tests and highlighting any defects encountered in these scenarios. Explores new approaches to further enhance the efficiency of the existing systems.Achievements: • Created a VBA/Macro Module for management to charge respective cost centre for the services provided by Cash Management Operations which increases efficiency by 50%. • Nominated by UOB Tai Seng Branch for excellence service.• Self-initiated and participated in 15 different systems initiatives which successfully entered production.

Industrial Trading

• Negotiated pricing with suppliers for products to satisfy clients’ requirements.• Established relationships with strategic partners to reduce cost and to maximise profit margin.• Conducted industry studies to identify potential suppliers and clients to expand the range of products.Achievements: • Initiated a new pricing system using Excel to monitor products pricing which increased profit margin by 8%.• Created an internal maintenance log system to track the schedule and movements of goods.• Involved in the negotiation process and completed a $2 million dollars sales of ship building materials.• Reduced freight expenses and delivery time by using preferred freight vendors.
