My primary responsibility involves designing, synthesizing and analyzing organic compounds for potential pharmaceutical use. The syntheses, which vary from 3 to 15 steps in length (milligrams to 10 kg scales), require purification and analysis. Meanwhile, I have optimized and synthesized several kinds of ADC linkers, two cGMP projects and many other projects for process research and development.

Designed and synthesized several series of modified nucleoside phosphoramidites, which were then incorporated into RNA oligonucleotides using solid-phase synthesis for the study of RNA enzymes involved in catalysis within the spliceosome.

Developed an efficient synthetic method for novel dimers of the Vancomycin and Chloroorienticin B, which enabled two Vancomycin or Chloroorienticin B molecules to be arranged in a special orientation. Synthesized twenty new kinds of Vancomycin and Chloroorienticin B derivatives, which have improved solubility in water and greater efficacy against Vancomycin-resistant microorganisms.
