My research follows a broad framework—"design new materials, develop innovative methods, elucidate mechanisms, and fabricate cutting-edge devices"—covering a multiscale approach from nanoclusters to functional devices. I focus on metal oxide clusters, particularly polyoxometalates (POMs), and porous materials like MOFs, COFs, and zeolite-templated nanocarbons, with applications in catalysis and catalysis-driven gas and bio-detection.I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, having previously served as an assistant research associate under Chair Professor Zhiping Zheng at Southern University of Science and Technology. I earned my PhD from the University of Macau, where I was supervised by Chair Professor Zikang Tang, and my M.S. and B.S. from Northeast Normal University under the guidance of Professor Shuxia Liu.
