I have a keen interest in investigations and understanding how to best employ technology and procedural guidelines to ensure that the truth is uncovered. My experience as a Team Leader and Investigation Officer has exposed me to a variety of investigative skillsets such as crime scene management, physical and digital forensics, incident response and escalation, as well as operations management, which are critical to various stakeholders and protecting their interests. My academic background includes a Degree in Criminology and Security and a Diploma in Infocomm Security Management. This allowed me opportunities to develop an appreciation of how society and the world is inextricably linked with crime, as well as the impact cyberspace has in the future of investigations. As part of my academic journey I published a paper on the harms of lootboxes in videogames - this brought insights into definitions of gambling, regulations and fostering business environment in Singapore for the videogame publishing industry. I am driven to explore new methods of investigative processes to ensure we remain relevant for a safer world, across emerging trends.
