Assume responsibility for all security plans, procedures, and policies. Assess security needs against current plans and procedures and establish or further develop plans, procedures and programs in the following areas:Building security and access controlBomb threatsAnti-terrorism Evacuation plansResidential security Coordinate the security program to ensure the safety of employees, facilities, and assets against unauthorized entry, fire, theft, vandalism, terrorism, and opportunities for criminal activities. Coordinate with building security to ensure all security personnel are properly trained, adhering to proper procedure, and providing proper safeguard for facilities and employees.Monitor the effectiveness of installed security and safety systems, and recommend appropriate corrective measures to overcome any deficiencies.Conduct security surveys, physical audits, and risk/threat assessments of facilities, venues, residences, and work sites Liaise and interact with military, police, security forces, department officials, other government officials, and other groups and associations in support of facility, site, and residential security, surveys, assessments, and audits.On-site security management, consulting, and coordination when needed .Evacuation plan support and facilitation when needed.Personal contact by phone by 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for consultation or assistance in response to security and other emergency incidents.Ensure that all key security and safety issues and incidents are recorded, for management review, in the form of weekly reports, and other reporting mechanisms as directed.Review and send Safety and Security Newsletter every 2nd and 4th week of the month to Fluor personnel.
