Mr. Wang has more than 25 years of leadership experience in the energy and utility sectors. Currently a Project Director for a large coal to natural gas conversion project in northern Nevada. Prior to this assignment, he served as the Capital Project Manager of FPL South Region at NextEra Energy. In this role, Mr. Wang oversaw all FPL’s capital improvement projects in the South Region. Prior to this role, Mr. Wang served as the Central Maintenance Manager at FPL where he was responsible for all major outage projects at the West County plant and South Region power plants. Prior to joining FPL, Mr. Wang serves as Director of Major Projects for Enmax Corp. During his tenure at Enmax, Mr. Wang built his engineering and construction team which delivered three large power generation projects (1,000 MW).Earlier in his career, Mr. Wang served in various engineering, operations and leadership roles for Fortune 500 companies at MidAmerican Energy, a Berkshire Hathaway energy company; Williams Energy Marketing and Trading; InterGen, a Shell Bechtel venture; and GE Power.Extensive knowledge and experience in energy project management, power plant engineering/construction administration, EV charging stations, interconnect and substations, estimating, tendering, design, procurement and delivery of various capital works. Highly skilled in planning and project control systems. Proven ability to manage teams working within time and resource constraints within budget and on schedule. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
