I have been conducting research in medical image analysis and computer-aided diagnosis in chest radiography, mammography, breast MRI, and breast tomosynthesis for over ten years. I have developed a computer-aided detection system (CAD) for breast masses for both screen-film mammograms and FFDMs. In recently years, I have expanded my research interests to multiple areas including CAD on breast tomosynthesis, limited angle reconstruction for breast tomosynthesis, and mammgoraphic parenchymal analysis for breast cancer risk prediction. I have developed quantitative analysis for mammographic density estimation, feature extraction and classification techniques for cancer detection, and multiple image information fusion techniques for screening mammography.
