In this internship collaboration with Perro, a pet care application designed for pet owners, I conducted an in-depth analysis of user data to examine usage patterns and identify strategies for improving user retention. My focus was on the app's "gamification features," where I applied statistical analysis (multiple regression analysis) and machine learning techniques (Random Forest modeling) to assess whether the app's gamified pet care elements positively impacted new user retention. The project yielded promising results, providing Perro with actionable insights and future directions.

During my collaboration with Professor Chen Gong's research, I was responsible for gathering and synthesizing insights within the cryptocurrency sector. Under the professor's guidance, my research focused primarily on blockchain-related apps and games. This included a deep dive into the blockchain gaming field, from the NFT wave with projects like Punk Comic and Bored Ape, to popular blockchain games such as Axie Infinity and the recent StepN. My research yielded valuable findings in this emerging area.
