LiquidPractice is a start-up company that builds cloud based applications for professionalservice industries. Its solution is 100% hosted on the Microsoft cloud using Azure SQLServer, Azure hosting services, Office 365 and SharePoint online. I was working on both the front-end (JQuery, Html) and the back-end (C#, SQL) of theapplications. Accomplishments included:− Implemented SharePoint search and item level security functions.− Implemented an Azure worker role to push data from Azure SQL server to SharePointsite, including all stored procedures and triggers in the SQL server.− Implemented exchange integration for the application using ExchangeWeb Services Man-aged API to sync contacts, calendar events and tasks between the application and ex-change.− Implemented proxy functions to solve cross-domain issues.

InfoWhere is an information software, solutions and services company located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I led the development of a new WherePoint product, which is a simple but powerful geospatial application intended primarily for SharePoint users. It is written in C# using Share-Point web services and ArcGIS Explorer SDK. I also worked on various government projects.Accomplishments included:− Implemented a web-based train tracking system using ASP.NET, MVC, Silverlight andJavascript.− Implemented a web-based highway vehicle tracking system using Javascript, Google mapAPI and ArcGIS Explorer SDK.− Ported a text-to-speech library to Arm Linux, and built a new toolchain with optimization techniques from scratch to reduce the processing time by 90%.

I was hired to develop FeatureObjeX as a team member and later became the lead developer.FeatureObjeX is a tool written in C# for automatic and semi-automatic extraction of visualfeatures from satellite and aerial images. Accomplishments included:- Implemented vector editing, filtering and processing algorithms in FeatureObjeX.- Implemented undo engines in FeatureObjeX.- Implemented the linear feature extraction tool using a thinning algorithm.- Optimized feature extraction and vectorization algorithms and reduced the overall pro-cessing time by 50-90%.- Designed and developed a batch version of FeatureObjeX.- Designed and developed change detection algorithms for FeatureObjeX.- Ported FeatureObjeX algorithms to C++ using PCI’s Pluggable Framework functions.- Developed and implemented a database and GUI components to manage and view imagesusing FeatureObjeX.- Performed sub-pixel target detection on hyper-spectral data using a proprietary IDLcode and the ENVI matched filter for an Office of Naval Research SBIR project.
