These two systems have a 365 day 99.9% uptime so management instrumentation, capacity planning and structured processes were key. The IMM had a one man IT department prior to me joining, it had no systems or processes and worked on an informal email and phone based request response system. They had major capacity constraints and needed to greatly improve their processes to keep up with demand.Utilizing MS SQL 2000 beta and ASP technology together with Javascript I was able to develop a formal fully automated request/response system with reporting and SLA measurements.

Daymon handled the Pick n Pay No Name Brand order and delivery management. Their current system was a series of batch scripts that needed a complete replacement.The task involved converting MS Access databases and reports, EDI automated orders and command line fax jobs into one single order management system. Using VB6 , SQL Server 6.5 and Crystal Reports together with various com based components I replaced and consolidate all the fax,email and EDI based functionality into one system.
