• RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Management/Leadership:
• Implement an effective and efficient logistics and planning strategy. 2. Financial:
• Ensure costs are minimised through effective and efficient planning/scheduling of orders 3. SHEQ:
• Ensure that all Incidents/CAR's relevant to the Logistics and Planning Department is reported, investigated and learnings disseminated
• Ensure compliance to OHS Act and other industry applicable legislation
• Ensure competent staff in place in terms of legal requirements

• Managing and supervising the preparation and despatching of all finished products with required and related documentation, both local and export material.
• Managing and supervising the receiving of all raw materials and conducting QC functions like checking on COA`S to ensure correct material and in spec.
• Manage the weighing up and dispensing of raw materials to the various plant for batches to be prepared against batch card / job card requirements, ensuring correct quantities and products dispensed.
• Managing times and sorting of time sheets on a weekly basis.
• Ordering, stock control and issuing of all PPE for the Automotive, Glue and Resin plants.
• Management of all despatch staff, effectively and efficiently.
