Junaid Lodhi has worked as Marketing and Communications Manager with Microsoft Pakistan, responsible for the targeted ROI of product promotions and promotional campaigns along with the PR associated with Microsoft in Pakistan. Windows7, Windows Server 2008, Visual Studio 2008, Virtualization and Core IO Infrastructure are some of the products launched by Junaid and the marketing team in Microsoft.As an entreprenuer, developed a niche for salt waste for Textile mills and has successfully sustained this business for more than 7 years now. Also launched A-quality snacks for C category markets in Northern Punjab and NWFP which are in the 2nd year of operations and currently in the expansion phase. Before joining Microsoft, Junaid has worked with Asian Development Bank for a year in the SME development sector program engaging emerging SME sector companies for acquiring consultancy services which directly impacts productivity of the available resources in a positive way. He has also worked in production (stitching units), bringing down repair and rejection rates of working gloves by implementing Industrial Engineering projects. Before joining LUMS for his MBA, Junaid worked as a salesman in Pakistan Card Clothing Company, selling Spinning machinery and auxillaries.
