• Ensure the timely implementation of GIS-related projects.• Assist in the development and management of GIS project plans including defining requirements, tasks, and resource assignments, ensuring that approved quality levels and deadlines are met.• Prepare GIS project plans and schedules to include coordinating resources, tasks, and work assignments.• Manage GIS-related teams of EEC staff and vendors to ensure that GIS project objectives and time lines are met.• Develop standards for GIS deployment and use within the City.• Provide GIS-related technical guidance and assistance to project teams.• Serve as a liaison with GIS vendors for the proper acquisition, installation, operation and maintenance of GIS-related resources.• Maintain expertise in GIS-related software and technologies.• Provide all departments and stakeholders of EEC (Master Planning, Facility Management, Utilities, Security, etc…) with the most recent and accurate GIS data available.• Interface with other departments or outside agencies regarding existing and future GIS projects.• Consult and collaborate with System Administrators on systems and application issues.• Train and demonstrate system usage and functions to end-users.• Ensure a good level of knowledge about GIS and its related systems across the organization.• Provide high level of customer service by taking care of end-user requests and taking necessary actions to enhance the system where needed.

Department TIS (Technology Infrastructure & Services) Responsibilities • Expertise in ArcGIS/ Arc INFO, with more than 03 years of technical experience including MAPPING, Analysis and data management. • Designing, building and maintaining GIS databases on Personal Geo database as well as RDBMS such as Oracle & SQL Database. • Utilization of various GIS tools in analyzing different types of spatial data for GIS based analysis and producing high informative maps and layouts. • Responsible for all GIS related Issues (Software & Hardware), analyze and updating GIS Geodatabase feature classes based on shop drawing/ As built drawing and do QC before final data migration.
