The primary function of this role is solution consultancy for business development activities. We work on IBM OpenPages GRC Platform which is an enterprise platform primarily for financial institutions and banking sector. I look at the MENA region. All the leads from the sales activity are handed to me, I hold meetings with prospect clients, analyze the feasibility of these leads, have functional discussions with the client as an SME and clarify the requirements. Then I respond to RFPs, configure demos/POCs and deliver them. Then I am part of the final negotiation. Once the project is signed, we hand the project to project management. The secondary roles include working as a solution consultant on internal projects which could either be sold or helped with the development activities. Formulating business development strategies for the MENA region and enablement of regional partners for the IBM Openpages GRC platform.

At SPM Consulting we worked with two enterprise risk management platforms, IBM OpenPages GRC Platform and SAS Intelligence Platform. As a professional services consultant, for both platforms, the range of my responsibilities spanned the entire project lifecycle. My key responsibilities included elicitation of functional requirements and controlling scope creep in pre-sales and post-sale phases, leading the technical and BI team for the delivery of requirements and hands on solution customization, configuration, programming and BI work.
