I founded Pantrypoints to implement the economic system proposed by Adam Smith in the five books of The Wealth of Nations as an alternative to the current crisis-prone Neoclassical system. It aims to solve all economic problems (recessions, financial crises, poverty, unemployment, etc) by basing trade on social contracts on money, points, and barter. Its staggered roll out will start in 2017, with full go-live by year 2027, especially since my model predicts a global stagflation sparking from 2019, gaining strength until 2025. * Update April 2020: The global stagflation is here as predicted, courtesy of the Corona VirusCurrently, as of 2018, the prototype implements:- Consumer goods (as a C2C platform to solve inflation)- Employment (as a jobs platform to solve unemployment)- Real Estate (as a property platform)* This implements Book 1 of the Wealth of NationsFor 2019, it will implement:- Food (as a farm to market platform to solve food security)- Apprenticeship system that facilitates job-skills matching* This implements Book 4 of the Wealth of NationsFor 2020, it will implement:- Electronics marketplace (to solve recycling issues)- Animal registration and supplies platform. This will implement Book 5 and David Hume's Reason of Animals* Update April 2020: We replaced this with a health reference app and marketplace as a response to CovidFor 2021, it will implement EF Schumacher's Multilateral Clearing as a solution to supply chain issues* caused by the 2019 crisis* Update Jan 2022: This actually happened as predicted2022 will prototype the actual clearing mechanism of Multilateral Clearing** Update Jan 2022: We focused instead on a loyalty system as a proof of concept of the Points-based system2023 will prototype the Points-based barter system. This will implement Book 3 as a solution to prolonged inflation* Update Jan 2024: We focused on the offline version2024 will prototype the taxation system as Points Taxation.
