I assisted students and parents with housing and general university related issues and concerns. I would answer phones, respond to emails, handle check-ins, and work with the resident assistants to ensure student's needs were taken care of both on and off the clock. I worked with the furniture crew as well to assist with lowering beds, re-configuring dorm rooms, and helping set up special events. Once the COVID pandemic hit, we worked with the professional staff to ensure there was enough storage space for students to keep their belongings on campus as well as helped with the packing and storing of their belongings. We assisted with check-outs to make the process as easy as possible. This included processing keys and working with students and parents over the phone and through email to help answer questions and concerns regarding the pandemic and their status as residents on the campus.

I worked as an intern for the buildings and grounds staff where I assisted in routine facility repairs, grounds upkeep and maintenance, and other tasks. Most repairs were related to HVAC and plumbing issues across a number of the facilities within the district. I also headed a project to repair the outdoor sprinkler system on the grounds of the district office where I was tasked with testing and replacing any malfunctioning sprinkler piping or heads on that system.

I worked with other students and pilots to safely and effectively remove Ice from the aircrafts on the ramp prior to flight using standard deice measures such as propylene glycol. I was also tasked to work with the team to maintain De-Icing equipment throughout the season to ensure equipment functionality and service life. After extreme winter weather, our team would also be tasked to assist in snow and ice removal from the flight ramp.

Responsible for teaching swimming, lifesaving, and snorkeling classes to youth as well as providing a safe swim environment during free swim and during other aquatic activities, such as mile swim. I also assisted with other counselor functions such as assisting with check-ins, serving food, and assisting with other camp activities.

I worked temporary maintenance where I assisted other workers in painting and repairing school classrooms and halls and was responsible for sanding and staining new furniture being placed in classrooms for the 2015-2016 school year.
